Exceptional Antique Franch Brass or Bronze Empire-Style Door Knocker in the shape of a Woman's Face - Well-cast, and heavy, the classic face wearing an elaborate headdress; wonderful patina; the whole serves as the door knocker. All parts present, ready to install. Condition: Very Very Good with minor scratches that would be commensurate with age and use.

FLORAL WITH MAIDEN'S FACE
Beautiful Heavy Brass Art Nouveau Calling Card or Jewellery Tray with an image of a Maiden in the typical Art Nouveau style, with flowing hair. The dish itself in the shape of a flower petal, and raised on four feet. Condition: Very good but may have been plated or polished in the center.

FINE PAIR OF BRONZE-MOUNTED JAPANESE BRASS VASES
Circa 1880-1900
Impressive Pair of Japanese Moulded Brass Baluster Vases with French Bronze Mounts, c. 1880-1900 - Each vase molded in high relief with Dragons, Birds and Foliage around the body, with pierced crowns, mounted at the shoulders and neck with foliate bronze (ormolu) mounts forming the handles, raised on bronze feet, with brass liners. The animals nicely detailed. They bear the Dai-Nippon Seal on the bottom with crossed Hi-no-maru flags over the city name- Kyoto. Inside the right cartouche it says Hanbai, followed by the family name - Yoshida. The left cartouche is Chuko I. . Condition: Excellent, with a slight bend in one of the handles and minor signs of age. Nice patina.
